  Melo I am a huge fan of the Nuggets of gone to the pepsi center to see you one of the games was the high scoring night u guys had the season before last vs. the Warriors 140 something points from the team that game wow and your shoes are sweet also lebrons and u even came to my home town a few years back (Meeker, CO) and it is past the playoffs when kobe was cruisen but its ok you guys havnt been together for long so but i hope you get this reply even though it is sord of late and i am srry for the team that they traded Camby and i hope it works out with the chris anderson guy what u guys got to do next season is do what the celtics did although it is great to see u and a.i. combine for like sixty and i dont think either of u are ballhogs and tell coach karL that he needs to start j.r. he made a huge jump last season instead of anthony carter although i hope the team can resign j.r. sorry for being of topic but i figured i would reply to the picture of the sweet kicks

They are the two coolest shoes i have ever seen man.

Melo, don't give up and don't get discouraged. It's o.k. 2 b frustrated because it's kinda a frustrating time right now but just turn that frustration n2 something positive. It's not 2 late. Main thing is 2 call the team 2gether and see where they r at. I mean see if they r at that "give-up" point. If u can get them 2 play 4 quarters of good solid defense and play like each game is a "must win"...... it would help get a lot of things done. U've got 2 let them know they have got 2 b positive and give it all they have. U know how the analysts always say how Lebron takes over......Kobe takes over well..........it may just b........."MELO-TIME"

Melo pretty much everything you or jordan brand puts out is tight!! I just want anyone on the Nuggets to read this! Been to two home games and two on the road over here againist Bucks and Bulls. If you really do read this heres some things i noticed.
1) Every one on the team needs to take better shot selections
2) you like college basketball well remember EVERY PLAY COUNTS
3) Dont worry about stats who cares if you get 10 points its all about the W
4) Its been better but BOX OUT everyone even Iverson
5)Take your time and let the Game come to you no need to rush your team has lots of talents
6)This is huge guard the perimeter teams shoot way to good from 3 win they play you guys
7) Always put a hand in the face no matter what Great Defence does ALL THE TIME
8)Play more of a 2 on 2 game you in Iverson (best 2 on 2) in the league
9)Iverson needs to play more confortable shooting open screens like Rip does just get the lil man open
10) DEFENCE everytime down the court
If you guys can follow these (10 commandments) you are unbeatable
How about num 11 if you get beat up by one guy its will be ok no need two double team every time a superstar touches

Melo, great effort against the suns. I have a question. Do you wear the mcdavid sleeve? If you do. Where do you get the nuggets colors? I see the white during the allstar game. I recently got diagnosed with lyme disease and have to go on permenant I.V. Going to have to wear a sleeve to protect and I would love to rock the nuggz colors around town! Why don't you consistently try on defense anymore? At the end of last season, all you guys were playing tough on that end just about every game, but this year you don't seem to care all that often. You should address that in your next blog post.

That's how the Spurs beat you guys, man. Mental mistakes down the stretch. You guys gave 130% over the Spurs and got a win for effort. You can't give a team like the Spurs any reason to think they've got one up on you. Any reason - because they exploit it.
Duncan knees you and pushes you into the backcourt and you get called for the over and back.....man, you just have to suck it up and get that ball back. Silly no-call, but there it was, a tech and they get one more point. Just don't want to see your effort wasted.
Trust me, as fans, we see the good stuff. Keep the crazy effort, don't sweat the small stuff - and MELO, tell your boys to move without the ball FASTER before the double team comes - you need cutters to get out of that.

Hey Melo, man. You know how GK was sayin' y'all need to emulate the Rockies' run? Just remember, their playoff drive came down to a final moment in the last game of the season in which no one thought would possibly happen. That means 50 W's, 55 W's, doesn't matter. Just play like every moment matters, because when that moment comes you will be able to stand tall and face adversity with confidence. No one's going to get down on you or the Nuggets for getting 50 and not making it, if it happens, but I think you guys can still get 55. Don't short change yourself.
Something in the Western Conference happens that's never happened before, you just gotta do something that's never been done to win it.
That being said, another phenominal effort tonight. Bring the intensity cause it's lookin' good.

yo mello wats up my name is dewayne quick and i am a fan of the denver nuggets and a fan of your sneaks but. but i want to let you know that we well yall can make the playoffs man i know were the best team in the nba despite our record. all we need to do is play harder on defense and make a litle extra pass and there is no one that can beat us. U have the smoothest jump shot in the game man and of course iverson can take it in the paint better than anyone. jr got the threes down pack kleiza is a great ball player man he should get more active in the games. but the point is yall are to good no great of a team to miss out. they say the nuggets is not a good half court team well prove to them that you are prove yall selfs im already a believer in the nuggets and i know we can get one of those winning streaks if we just play together as the denver nuggets like a week or two ago with the spurs man they said that the spurs shut down for the game, and what happended you came out aggressive and the team just played along with you. like i said the nuggets is the best team in the nba we just have to play like it. that brings us tonight with the detriot pistons we can score all we have to do is make them play our type of game if they slow it down then lets play there game better than them. thats all man im not going to write a book but yall play ball ill be watching man take care

Don't get down about the Detroit loss. I know this sounds bad, but I half expected that to happen. Detroit is the second or third best team out there in my opinion and it only makes sense that after a record setting night for the Nuggets, the Pistons would come out with some fire. All I hope, is you and the rest of the team can use this loss as inspiration for the rest of the road trip and sweep the next four. Man, you've been doing things right the last two games but as a team you need to be more efficient. Not breaking fast enough, not cutting fast enough (by maybe a second or two, don't give them that extra second) Ask yourself, "what will it take to win this game?" and then answer it.

Gabriel, I think they want it and they are bringing enough effort man. I just think too much of the effort is wasted with blown layups, blocks on them, not pushing it on every possession to put the pressure back on the other team.......I think it is holding this team down. We saw what would happen if that pressure is taken off when they played Seattle. The Nuggets just need to take some pressure off themselves by making their game more efficient so when they play teams that are hot..
Camby has just seen this before he's probably just waiting for guys to get their act together before he goes all out. 8 more of these games are roadies.....Nuggs need some way to focus on the road. I honestly think they ought to spend warm ups just playing keep-away or hot potato.

Man.......what happened to the cutters? First half, Kenyon's cutting, Camby's cutting......you guys are attacking the basket as a team. Yeah, Phoenix stepped up the defense but you can't go one on one vs. 2-3 guys on every possession (maybe a few). Beautiful first half - just do that first half all game tomorrow night and mix up how you go at it to keep them off balance.

I believe we were SEVERELY OUTREBOUNDED in the second half too. Nene was getting a rebound per minute maybe he should have been in. Seriously something like 50 to 30 rebounds advantage Suns that is RIDICULOUS. It's like WE DIDN'T CARE after the half..

Ok let's break it down like this - whichever team plays MORE basketball will have a better chance to win. Didn't see no passes and no protecting the ball and basic stuff like making free throws. You love basketball? Your teammates love basketball? Play the game. Love your game but you can't give up like you guys did in Utah at 73-72. Houston and Memphis are going to be your best defensive games of the year. Go get it.

I've been tuned n2 the games, just not the blog cause I really felt like U had pretty much tuned out of it since the "playoff push" began There's been some tough breaks but at the same time yall have really stuck with it and your play as of late has been stellar. vs the Rockets was not a big scoring thing for ya but U did what U do best n other areas and besides......U could use a break while some1 else stepped up. About the "drama-stuff" running on ESPN......"this 2 shall pass" Whatever happened.......happened....it is what it is. Mistakes happens for a reason and there's good n mistakes....their purpose is 2 never let the mistake made...happen again. Learn from it, see it for what it is, overcome whatever it is that made the mistake available 2 U and.............move on. Mistakes r given n life just don't continue 2 give life 2 mistakes. U're a good person Melo and no1 is doubting that right now. Just stay focused on what U r trying 2 accomplish right now U r playing awesome basketball right now don't let anything else control that. Tune out the news and all the comments U're not the only player who has had 2 keep fighting through adversity (see Kobe Bryant/Colorado court case). During the coming and going from court 2 games he was unbelievable, he played his best basketball...ever. U're just as talented as Kobe..........Stay focused........we're there with U and for U.......C U n the playoffs. Lots of Luv

Saw the apology on ESPN and I had 2 come back n response 2 it. That was a big step for a person with a big heart. It will all work out for U, for your team and for every1 else who supports U. Sometimes the best thing 2 say......is nothing at all and some of the comments made.......well.......shouldn't have been made. It's time that we, as your fans and every1 else see U for who and what U r.......HUMAN.......just like the rest of us. Some of the same people who made the negative comments may not have been where U r right now but they have been n some situation they could have avoided. So, as far as that goes......definitely tune out 2 it. Your focus now first of all is 2 get a perspective on where U r. The playoffs shouldn't put U n a pressured situation. Just come out and play your best basketball.....ever. The people on ESPN made a major statement that 2 me should never have been made public 2 me it was a personal thing that should have been kept......personal. For every action there is a reaction. I have no idea what action caused your reaction n that way but I do know this...........it isn't and wasn't worth what U're going through right now and anytime n the future. Sometimes Melo U just have 2 accept what U can't change b4 it changes U. As a true fan....honestly what hurts U.....hurts me. I don't see the point in writing this, seeing as how I doubt you'll even read it, but I'll write it anyway. I've never really care about basketball up until this last season, and I have to say that I think the Nuggets are an amazing team. Every game you never know what to expect. Some nights you're all thinking on the same waves and it's like watching the "perfect" team... other nights it's like all of you are meeting each other for the first time on the court. I love it, it keeps me hooked. But most of all, I think you are the north star among your team. And, of course, Iverson. I live in Hampton and I hear that he comes here after season, that he's been seen shopping in Club Wal-Mart on Mercury. You should come, too, lol. Anyway, this is going no where. Just wanted to send support and love.
