All-Star Voting

So I went from runner up in the all star balloting, to just missing the game the following year, then I finally make it by the skin of my teeth, mainly because of an immature decision but still an unbelievable experience. Now thanks to you guys, which I greatly appreciate, I'm the front runner for forwards and #2 behind Kobe Bryant! I'm usually waitin around thinkin I will get picked but knowing that there are so many great players who perform year in year out you can never be too sure. Guys like Shawn Marion, Carlos Boozer people that just work hard nothin extra but good players. Just to think that you guys out there support me regardless of what is goin on I truly thank you. This doesn't mean that now because it appears that I will be in attendance at the game, doesn't mean my work stops here. I am goin to try my best to grow as have my fans, so stick around. I have a lot left to accomplish.

Melo am your die hard fan! Congrats on carrying your team last night against Hornets, you looked awesome on 4th quarter, just keep your head up and keep taking it to the hoof strong like you did, when you have off scoring....you will for sure get 3 point plays....I have my vote for all star....just play smart and strong you will get there......play good defense as well your offense will come to you man.....good luck to you on Saturday against Spurs....I will be watching the game.....dont let me down....

Remember those things U spoke about n your "Blessings" although sometimes we don't say openly all the things we really want, n life the desires of the heart has a way of being ours. Though U didn't name the All-Star game at all, U knew n your heart that was 1 of the desires U have wished for since being n the NBA. Whats for U is yours and hopefully with U continuing 2 stay determined, focused and committed U will b that All-Star starter and who knows.........MVP..... what U think? U r deserving because for 2 long U things have somehow barely escaped U but there is no escaping the fact that everyone is beginning 2 see that U r n that "elite" class. Not only Kobe, U have an All-Star on your team and your vote has thus far out-numbered his as wel. I'm not trying 2 design it as competition between the 2 of U, I'm just saying U have so far out-numbered many "All-Stars" Although as your fans we r gonna make sure U stay on top, let's not pop that bottle of champagne yet, but certainly....."keep it on ice" we will be popping it soon. You the man Melo, every day when I log onto the computer, I vote for you and the rest of the team, A.I., Camby and Nene. The whole team deserves to be on the ballot. Ever since you came to Denver, you re-ignited the spark I used to have for basketball. I played in middle school, but kinda left it there. Now, every Sunday, I play with friends. Your pattented "stab" step, fade away shot, is what my game is based around. I look at you, and notice I have the same style of game! You the man Melo, maybe some day I'll see ya on the court. :)

2nd in all star voting, thats great man. I have been voting for you, A.I., Camby, and Martin everyday. I hope we get to see you start in the all-star game this year. Keep it up man, keep pushing yourself every night and you will be in the starting lineup for sure! More importantly though, keep pushing to make it to the Finals, the Nugs definitely have the talent.

Mr. Anthony - I have voted many times for you this season, as in seasons past... Hey Melo Watched 'bout 95% of all the game n ur career. Real Talk, you will be a great one when you play defense FIRST and do all the little things before you think about shooting. Melo, remember n the Fiba World after the loss 2 Greece U said "it's not like it's the end of the world for us, we still have 1 more game 2 play, we came 2gether, we win 2gether and we lose 2gether" Although I know that game was a disappointment U still have many more games 2 play and we (your fans) r still with U through wins and losses, through 10 point games as well as 30 point games. Try not 2 sit n the locker room alone, head down and dwell on it (this 2 shall pass). Even though I realize it's just an advertisement still U're the 1 who said "I know I can" I totally agree with the previous comment about A.I. making things hard. I've wanted 2 say that since I've been commenting on your articles. I had a friend who is not a Nuggets fan tell me after the game against the Spurs that a player like that on a team tend 2 make the other players take shots they don't usually take just because they finally have a chance 2 take 1. U know he said that when he was n Philly he had 2 take over a game, do everything, score all the points well.........can U please remind him for me that he is not n Philly anymore? We, (your fans) r proud of U because it really takes a special person 2 go from this 2 that where U r now, personally I think if we could've just held on until U returned last January, we would b closer 2 where we need 2 b. By the way..."is Coach Karl still the coach this year".......just asking. U don't have any reason 2 b down on "U" Just keep practicing on the jumper and the "D" and since U r 1 of the captains let them hear U on the Defense or lack thereof. I think the refs don't give U calls is because they know U r looking for them 2 make the call, maybe if U ignore a time or 2 they will finally start making the call...maybe. No need 2 push the panic button Melo

Mello sorry but I have no idea how you are doing so good in the allstar balloting. I have been a fan since the beginning but your play of late is hard to watch. To see you laughing and smiling w3hen your team is down stuns me. It seems like you are playing with no intensity. I dont see this kind of lack of intensity with any of the other top players and i dont understand it,is it George Carls laid back coaching style or is your personality just too laid back? Whatever it is I know I cant stand to watch a player who is smiling and laughing when his team is down. You and the team could do better you can do better than carls low expectations for you 10 wins one month 7 the next how about aproaching every game as as a must win! If you played with half the intensity of a lebron or kobe you7 would be unstopable! Come on get pissed!

Im a huge fan of the Denver Nuggets. I dont just love your game, but also the way you give back to community. 2 me, melo & a.i deserve to be in the "STARTING LINEUP" for the 2008 NBA allstar game... no dizrespect 2 NENE or Marcus. anyway, good luck and have a happy holiday to melo, kiyan, and to the denver nuggets.
