Blessings

Christmas is getting closer and this is my first with my son, he's the best gift I got. This is a wonderful time 2 appreciate family and blessings, living is a gift. Just thinkin bout those athletes who r missing the gift of living Darrent Williams Sean Taylor. I'm focused on doing better 4 this season going farther, pushing harder at getting out of the first round. That's the gift I want and with all the nugget fans support it can be done. What u think? Once Nene returns and we find the chemistry as a whole group working as one, we will be tough 2 beat. What u think? I been getting in the gym 4 extra shots 2 get the jumpshot goin, but gettin 2 the basket and exciting the crowd with a dunk or 2 always establishes that so just stay tuned there's is plenty of season left and much more nuggets success 2 come.

  I hope your success in life, with your family and friends mainly, sets you free on the court. They say in pool, there are ALWAYS three shots on the table. If we are good enough, smart enough all three are available. If not, which is the norm, we can take chances, go with what we know and be a better player

  I think that being a "Dad" is great! Kids really bring out the best in people I think! From reading your blog it seems that you are really happy off the court and I am happy for you! Hope you have as much fun on the court as off in the upcoming weeks Melo! Also,I am so glad you are speaking well of Nene, 2! I hope that Nene gets well soon!   Obviously I'm just offering my opinion, take it for what it's worth:
  As someone who wathces most of your games, and a basketball teacher at my local rec centre (not exactly the NBA I know haha) the number one thing I can see is that in your offensive set the spacing isn't right. Look at the teams who advance - the Spurs, the Suns, hell, even Detroit - and when they set up on offense they've always got good spacing, but y'all seem a little cluttered around the middle. Even when you go iso with a guy, there's still not enough room to execute, so it breaks down and something like Marcus Camby ends up shootin from the top of the key. Happens like 5 times every game and gives me a headache every time.
  
  Still y'all are wayy too talented to be denied in the second half of the season. Go Nuggets and Happy Holidays!

  As long as you fight through it and the team fights through it, you guys can do it Melo. It's those rebounds when your shot's not falling. It's that defense when even the refs calls are ugly. Beautiful game tonight. As a fan, it's a blessing to watch your team.
  Man, you got, and your team got everything you need to push through and win you just got to tap into it. Nene too, man.
  The only thing that keeps glaring is no one's getting a real hand into the face of the opposing shooters. You got to aggravate those shooters and make them think they're not going to get that shot off. Like a fly, just get up in there and alter those shots.
  Keep playin' hard and livin' right. Peace.

Now the Nuggets are top of the Division & tied for 3rd in the Western Conference which is pretty damn good for a team without their planned starting point guard and power forward! Good job guys!   The first X'mas with your son, "Wow" those 1st's r always special. He is a gift 2 U, cherish X'mas and all the other moments with him because time lost is never 2 b found again. This is a time to be appreciative of family, friends and even your favorite players and teams, but not just at X'mas each and everyday however, at X'mas time U focus more on the things that r so special n life. Right now (life) is the present that we can call a gift and we have 2 live with the memories of those who r not here 2 share them with us. U just keep focusing on those things U want 2 happen and don't worry about your Nugget fans because we r always with U and for U and the team and if no 1 else does......WE BELIEVE" I think U guys r already tough 2 beat as U said, as a whole and certainly when Nene gets back that should push the team over the edge 2 being among the elite as everyone likes 2 call it. I saw the game last nite and while the jumper may not have been goin like U wanted.....the heart of your game was. Sometimes as with last nite.... that counts more than points but U had those goin 2. As I sat there and watched the game, I could see how U were putting your heart n2 that game. U showed what a special player U really r and that speaks volumes of what U mean 2 the Nuggets. Good 2 see U smile again cause for a while I could tell it was pretty rough going for U, (U're a fighter). I never thought U were n a slump though, I just felt your confidence level was just a little out of sync with what U knew U were capable of doing. Nevertheless, that's all a part of the game sometimes. Maybe that had 2 happen 2 show U just how dominant U can b n other areas as well and that did show up last nite. U almost out-rebounded the rebounding champ......"Wow" Keep focusing Melo, it's there for the taking I think with your attitude and the leadership that U r showing (never, ever give up) the team will definitely follow the lead. That 1st round exit is only months away, stay grounded and focused...........it can and will happen for U and the Nuggets....... Lots of Luv.........Niecey

  keep doing what you are doing keep working hard on improving your defense and rebounding cause personally i think you are the best scorer in the league but its gone take more than that to get us over the hump ive been following you since high school you where supposed to come to an allstar game in my home town st.louis that featured deron williams,hasaan adams,anthony roberson, and jimmy mckinney.Also watching games on satelite we have strethes where you didint even really touch the ball we definitely cant allow that to happen.You have gotten better every year in the league d-wade and lebron have had there chance now its time for you to get yours im gone ride with you to the wheels fall off dirty so dont even trip off your minor shooting slump it happens to everybody keep smiling and playing ball cause when you having fun you are impossible to stop yall have all the pieces to win a ring as long as we make our open shots out of the double team and improve our defense we have a shot.Shock the basketball world and win it all.You where a winner in high school,college,you are going to win a gold medal and a ring so stay confident and continue to work hard on both ends of the court and its gone pay off.Good luck and enjoy the game my dude.
