When it comes to sports cards, there are a few names that boast relevancy than Michael Jordan in the market. And with a recent One of One Logoman Patch card guaranteed to go for over $200,000, it only shows the Chicago Bulls legend never fails in this part of the hobby.
When the pandemic halted all walks of life in 2020, including the NBA, fans turned to their hobbies to keep their love for the sport alive. This caused collectors to rediscover their love for these collectibles, which caused a boom in sport card prices during that period.
Among the notable cards that spiked in value was Dallas Mavericks All-Star guard Luka Doncic‘s Rookie Logoman Patch card, which sold for a record $3.12 million in 2022. Thanks to the Slovenian star’s rise in popularity, a Logoman patch from a jersey he wore encased within, and the only one of its kind produced, the card managed to increase in value until it became one of the staples in the modern era of sports cards.
Now, the sports card market has somehow cooled down a bit after hitting its peak a few years ago. Back then, base LaMelo Ball rookie cards produced by Panini fetched around $200. At this point in time, collectors can purchase it for less than $5. But unlike those cards, there are some guys in the hobby that retain their value well over the course of time.
Among the names collectors look out for in the hobby is Chicago Bulls All-Star guard Michael Jordan. As revealed by Ken Goldin of Goldin Auctions on X recently, one of the biggest cards featuring the six-time NBA champion has been made public.

Like the Doncic card that fetched millions before it, the Jordan Logoman Patch Auto card made by Upper Deck has all the right elements that can make it into one of the hobby’s best offerings. Its starting bid of $250,000 also ensures a high value for the card once the bidding starts.
Even after retiring from the league more than two decades ago, Jordan still remains a relevant part of the sport. And as seen by Goldin’s recent auction, the Bulls star is still a big name in the hobby as well.
