Meadowlark Ski Area and Lodge is located in the Big Horn Mountains between Buffalo and Tensleep, Wyoming just off highway 16. This resort boasts over 1,100 ft vertical drop, with lakeside and majestic Big Horn Mountain views.

In other words, it is good year-round as a four-seasons resort. It is also up for sale. See below.

Dubbed the “Little Jackson Hole” of the Big Horns, Meadowlark Ski Area has over 320 acres and 35 trails of ski terrain for both beginner and expert skiers; with very challenging chutes in an area of Wyoming that averages over 300 inches in annual snowfall.

They also have snowmaking services, important for any ski resort these days.

The lift-accessed terrain comes from two lifts service 400 skiers per hour with one triple Doppelmayr main lift.

The Meadowlark Lodge, over 25,000 sq. ft. space provides food, beverages, and all of the rentals and ski shopping downstairs needed for a ski resort worth its salt.

Weddings have a lot of potential at this resort in the summer: the beautiful lake and excellent water sourcing allows for exquisite and intimate ceremonies.

The inside has a lot of potential for the afterparty, as well. Just look at those beautiful wood pillars and tell me that doesn't scream rustic.

The summer doesn't only have to be about weddings, it can be about pure fun. Meadowlark has one of the longest ziplines in the lower 48 at over 1.2 miles.

The asking price? A pretty reasonable sounding $3,750,000. I imagine the real work is in running the place, but for such a beautiful all-seasons resort, that price does not seem crazy at all.
